When Someone Treats You Unfairly For No Reason

There are a lot of personality traits within many people and their choices in life, and that is okay! Because I cannot speak for everyone, I will only speak for myself.

For example, as I have posted before, I am an introvert and I am okay with that. It does not mean that other people will be okay with the way I am, and I have learned over the years that it doesn’t matter what other people think.

I could take my frustrations out on here, or anywhere else. In fact, I have written a post awhile ago about the unfair treatment I have received for being an introverted person by choice. Since I have had some time to reflect on life today, I figured something out.

I figured out that in the real world, not everyone is going to cater to your feelings. They just aren’t. Even though we all should be considerate of other people in the words we say and the things we do, it isn’t what happens with everyone all the time. It sucks.

So all you can really do is try to be considerate of other people, apologize and take responsibility for your wrongdoings, and treat others how you want to be treated. As it relates to those who will treat you unfairly… well…. don’t let those people destroy your confidence or anything about you. You just keep your head up and you keep being the positive person you are and can be.

I’m Back Again

I was going to fix my blog to make it “make more sense”, but why should I? It’s my blog after all, isn’t it? I originally did this as a class project years ago but I decided to continue to write for myself and I will go back to it starting today.

Well anyway, I have been weirdly inspired to write for myself again after doing a lot of ghost writing without any real satisfaction. Yes, article writing is satisfying and I LOVE getting money for it, but I miss doing it for fun. So, I’m back!

Starbucks’ Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuchino

Please read, because this is definitely a review of another option for those who happen to dislike Pumpkin Spice Lattes (PSL’s)!

I Swear, I Fit In!

Disclaimer: I don’t nor will I ever care what others think. This blog is based solely on my own and only my own opinion.

I haven’t posted anything in awhile and since I already have a picture in the Baltimore Sun, and I’m in the video sitting there, I thought I’d just write about my experiences seeing Cirque De Soleil at the Inner Harbor.

I had the honor of being invited, along with Jen  to this event by my friend Jessica (pictured to the far right), who took pictures of this for her internship. Now, I didn’t know what to expect at first of this, but it was awesome! Basically, these two acrobat/clowns were in themed costume for the next day’s performance at Cirque De Soleil. I walked into the Science Center to see these two do various tricks and act silly! They did this while crowds of families and bloggers alike took pictures. After all that, the act moved to Phillip’s Seafood Restaurant. Of course, a lot of the bloggers followed the act, whereas the two circus acts were doing various silly stunts. It was funny and awesome!

However, this is where the title fits in: Apparently my friend Jen and I were photographed by an employee of the Baltimore Sun. Since we were taking pictures with Jessica, we decided to tell the man our names and everything (it wasn’t much). I didn’t know which picture he took of us, so I was excited! I then found out the picture he took of us. I look like a loner trying to fit in with the circus man and the other two girls that happen to be my best friends. I just wasn’t as ready as they were to take selfies!

Oh well.. That was a fun day! ❤

Wal-Mart Shopping Haul

Left to right: extra super lash mascara in black, soft soap juicy pomegranate and mango infusions, pocket juice (to recharge your phone when your phone dies and there’s no electrical outlet), and clearasil rapid action daily face wash.

I haven’t done a shopping haul in awhile so I decided to do one, obviously. Yesterday was my friend Jessica’s birthday party and before I went my plan was to go to the library to get some work done. I found out it was closed, so I decided to shop at Walmart for things I needed and then some.

I decided to shop at wal mart because of how cheap they are compared to some other stores I have been to. I also needed to get basic hygienic things since I ran out so wal mart was my best option. Yes I know this is a random shopping haul, but I think a lot of people shop for things that have extremely different uses.

Unfortunately, I cannot find the receipt for everything I bought, so I don’t remember the prices I paid for these by heart. All I can say is that I am satisfied with all of these products because they work the way they are supposed to for their individual purposes.

Another picture of wine

As I mentioned before, I like taking pictures of alcoholic drinks because of the beauty of the bottles or drinks themselves. Luckily, I was able to take this picture of this beautiful sparkling wine bottle with the company of friends who also wanted to take this picture. Sorry for the repetitive blog post here by the way!!

Pond’s Moisturizing Cream

I bought this moisturizer some time ago because the other moisturizers weren’t really doing anything for my excessively dry face. It’s winter still, and bad weather in most of the USA so dry skin is very commonplace right about this time of season. I bought this, although at the time I thought it was pricey, since I needed something better for my face. Let me tell you this: I absolutely love it! It keeps my face moisturized for a long time, I don’t need a lot of it, and it was worth every penny I paid! I wish I remembered the price of the thing, but when I remember, I might either edit this post or comment on my own post. 🙂

Makeup review

I would have liked to do a full on tutorial but it would have involved a lot of pictures. Instead, I’m just going to do a review on the brightest green and yellow eyeshadows I have.

I got this makeup palette for Christmas this past year from my aunt and uncle. I normally use the neutral brown colors but today I decided to use yellow and green.

The yellow I used is in the second to last row above the dark green color. The greens I used are on the bottom row next to the dark green color.

The colors didn’t go on as brightly as they looked. The only reason for that is I didnt use eyeshadow primer. I need to get some and do this review again.

Restaurant week

I am so lucky that I didn’t miss restaurant week this year! For those of you who don’t know what that is, it is a week where participating high class restaurants sell their 3 or 4 course meals for $30 altogether, which is cheaper than normal. Here is my drink and 4 course meal I got!!

All of these were pretty delicious! I got them at Brewers art gallery so I recommend this place!!

So I blogged 2 years ago about my cousin Mark when he showed my friend Jess and I his student art studio. He graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2014. Since then, he has done some art shows in different galleries. I had the honor of being invited to one of his art shows today. Of course, I couldn’t go to the opening because I had to work a double shift and he said it was crazy last night anyway.

When the family and I went into the gallery, since we were the only ones there at the time today, I at first had no idea what art would be there. The reason was that I really haven’t taken the time to see his work online before the show. I liked a lot of the artwork because most of them were ones I had never seen before and I for one LOVE abstract paintings! My absolute favorite part of the gallery as a whole was that there was a black room with a video he did of a man painting on a canvas. I just liked it because it was a black room 😀

IMG_0227

The picture above that Mark painted is an image that was photoshopped to look blurry. Then he painted it on canvas to look blurry. This painting was the favorite of the whole family, but it wasn’t my favorite, although it was pretty amazing.

IMG_0231

My favorite image that he painted was the image above of an abstract looking hotdog. The reason for this is because it fits more with Mark’s signature style of painting to me. Plus it isn’t blurry. My family all said I liked it because I was hungry. But I wasn’t really all that hungry. I think they said that because I didn’t like what they like. I don’t know. Anyway, being at the show was a great opportunity for me to see other people’s art besides my own once in awhile.

By the way, this is some of the family. From left to right: my uncle (who was behind my aunt so I didn’t get a whole image of him), my aunt, my grandma, and my dad.
